A flight to Stratford for lunch
With the weather warming up and us tired of the lockdown in Toronto, we decided we needed to get out of the city and explore a bit. So we finally got to use the plane for what we really want, which is to fly somewhere and check it out for real. We put our bikes into the back of the plane – thankfully, they both fit nicely after removing the front wheels – and flew down to Stratford, ON.
Stratford is a little town that’s known for two things: it’s the hometown of Justin Bieber; and it’s home to the Stratford Festival, which is a terrific annual festival of plays that runs from typically April til October, with plays by Shakespeare and other playwrights.
We rode the short 7km into the center of the town, grabbed a quick lunch at a Thai place (rather depressing given the COVID situation, and the food kind of sucked to boot), wandered around the town for a bit, and then headed home. Check out the video on YouTube here.
