Diving with Nurse Sharks and Rays

In 2013, we were planning to go to Malaysia for a trip, and we discovered that the eastern cost of Borneo has some of the best diving in the world. That was enough to convince us to go get certified, so we’d be able to check out the reef and wall there at Sipadan. Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip at the last minute, and it was about 18 months before we finally got a chance to go diving for the first time, this time in the Cayman Islands. Over the next few years, we went on about one trip a year that included some scuba diving, and we put together a short video of some of our early dives with blowfish, nurse sharks and stingrays. We’ve continued to go diving since then, so there will be more videos to come, but this is our first.
